Telescopic tip

fast and strong

Our hook lifts use a telescopic tipping function, which makes our tipping function fast and strong.

Telescopic tower

Flexible weight distribution

Our hook lifts have telescopic towers to be compact and agile, with the ability to adjust their weight transfer to the tractor. At the same time as they can take long containers and have a smooth switching process

TELESCOPIC SHIFT SYSTEM

Low own weight

Our telescopic shifting system provides geometric advantages with great power distribution, which gives our hook lifts a low dead weight and a fast and strong progression.

Laser-aligned axles

Maneuverability and efficiency

We laser align our BPW axles for optimal compliance, reduced tire wear and fuel consumption. It is proven in independent studies that our system has approx. 25% less fuel consumption and approx. 50% lower soil compaction compared to conventional systems.

Hydraulic safety support beam

Safety

We use a hydraulic safety support beam at the rear that can be pushed into the ground when shifting for reduced negative force on the tractor. We recommend that the safety support beam is 10 cm above the ground when shifting so that you can roll during the shifting process. When the container touches the rollers, the wheels are compressed and the beam reaches the ground when the negative force is the greatest.

Large wheels within legal width

Accessibility

Our focus on agriculture has meant that over the years we have developed a construction that enables really large wheels within the legal width

Hydraulic axle suspension

Comfort and stability

Leveling of the chassis right/left side 35cm possible from the driver's cab. This enables greater safety and better geometry when shifting and working on slopes.

Our hydraulic axle suspension with communicating vessel technology provides a wide base and a stable ride.

Low chassis height

Stable and efficient shifting

The lower a hook lift is, the better the geometry for changing containers. At Metsjö, we are masters at building our trailers low.

Rear steering axle

Maximized maneuverability

Rear steering axle is standard on our larger wagons, the axle straightens when you put pressure on it. Front steering axle can be added.

You can upgrade the steering to manual forced steering, where you can force the axle with the tractor's hydraulic controls.

Or upgrade to fully automatic steering that acts proportionally to the trailers speed.
