Press release: Metsjö expands into France

Metsjö is expanding into France and is pleased to announce its first dealership agreement on the French market, signed with D2G Métal, based in Juilley in Normandy, north-western France, and covering the regions of Normandy, Brittany and Pays de la Loire. Starting in 2026, D2G Métal will officially represent Metsjö's product range on the French market, with a primary focus on the company's tractor-drawn hook-lift trailers and grain trailers.

The partnership marks an important step in Metsjö's strategy to strengthen its presence in Western Europe. France is one of Europe's largest agricultural markets, with high demands on quality, efficiency, and long-term durability – requirements that Metsjö's solutions are specifically engineered to meet.

Focus on hook-lift systems and grain trailers

D2G Métal will initially highlight two parts of the Metsjö range.

The hook-lift trailers are known for:

• High strength in relation to low own-weight
• Fast and easy-to-use functions such as telescopic tipping
• Low operating costs and exceptionally long service life
• Specialised options such as driven axles and frame steering

The grain trailers offer:

• High load capacity with low own-weight
• Fast unloading and gentle handling of the crop
• Robust construction built for intensive harvest seasons
• Interchangeable bodies – the grain body can easily be swapped for another, such as a dumper body, letting one chassis serve several purposes

Manufacturing takes place at Metsjö's own facility outside Linköping, Sweden, where the company has produced tractor-drawn machinery for over 70 years. Production is certified according to ISO 9001, EN ISO 3834-2 and SS-EN 1090-1.
