Metsjö launches new model of Olympia 95

Ivarssons i Metsjö AB introduces a new, upgraded version of the grain trailer Olympia 95 – a trailer that combines efficiency, stability, and user-friendliness for professional farmers.

New design for increased stability

The new model is equipped with hydraulic suspension and a hydraulic suspended pendulum front axle with a turntable, ensuring optimal maneuverability even in demanding terrain. One of the major improvements is the innovative placement of the tipping cylinder, now integrated into a cradle inside the turntable. This solution lowers both the loading height and center of gravity by 30 centimeters, significantly improving stability and reducing the risk of the instability issues that traditional high grain trailers with turntables often face.

– "Olympia 95 is a large grain trailer where we have achieved an effective weight transfer of 2 tons onto the towing vehicle," says Anders Ivarsson, CEO of Ivarssons i Metsjö. "By integrating the tipping cylinder into the hydraulically suspended cradle inside the turntable, we have managed to lower the loading height by around 30 centimeters – a crucial improvement for both safety and usability."

Field tested

Olympia 95 has been developed over four years and has undergone two years of testing under professional operating conditions. The result is a grain trailer that combines high capacity with reliable performance, even during intensive workloads. 

High capacity and efficient unloading

With a 40 cubic meter body, a tipping angle of 49 degrees, and a hydraulically high-opening, drop-sealed tailgate at 130 degrees, the trailer ensures fast and efficient unloading. An unladen weight of 7,500 kg makes the trailer both robust and fuel-efficient. The trailer can be equipped with Electronic load sensing air brakes with ABS.
