Metsjö launches MetaE - Trailer with hydraulically opening side for mobile excavators

Ivarssons i Metsjö AB is now presenting its latest product, MetaE, a trailer with a hydraulically openable side that makes loading and unloading goods both easier and more efficient. This innovative trailer has been designed to meet the specific needs of mobile excavators working in confined spaces, such as urban areas. The hydraulically openable side saves both time and effort when loading goods from the side. The side can be angled 90 degrees outward or lie flat along the side during work.

MetaE has a support load of 500 kg to ensure stability and balance during operation, along with a payload capacity of 6.4 tons. This allows the trailer to handle varying loads with ease. It has a weight of 2.1 tons, contributing to excellent fuel efficiency. The bed is made of 4 mm thick Hardox, increasing durability and making the trailer extra robust. With an overall length of 5.3 meters and a width of just 2.15 meters, the trailer is easy to maneuver in tight spaces. The volume of the trailer is 5.2 cubic meters, making it efficient for transport and work.

The trailer can be equipped with remote control for easy maneuvering from the driver’s position.

MetaE will be premiered at the Danish fair Agromek, where Metsjö has its own booth. This gives visitors the opportunity to see the trailer up close and discover how it can streamline their work routines.
