Metsjö expands into Japan – 1460 ROC delivered

Metsjö continues its international expansion and delivers the first 1460 ROC forage harvester to Japan. The delivery marks Metsjö’s entry into the Japanese market and represents an important step in the company’s long-term growth strategy.

The delivered chopper drum is produced by Kongskilde, which has recently gained a new owner and supplier in SEKO. This change represents a continued focus on quality, production, and development of forage harvesters, with the 1460 ROC as a key product.

The 1460 ROC is a high-capacity, high-quality product that is receiving significant international attention. The cooperation with the new supplier of the chopping unit is working very well, says Anders Ivarsson, CEO of Metsjö.

The 1460 ROC forage harvester is known for its robust design, high capacity, and flexibility, making it a well-regarded machine within the forage harvesting segment. The delivery to Japan is a clear confirmation of the product’s competitiveness beyond the Nordic markets.

Prior to sea transport to Japan, certain components, including the pickup mat, are dismantled to ensure safe and efficient container shipping.

Metsjö will now continue to develop its offering within the forage harvester segment and will present new and exciting product developments in the near future.
